fdrf3French Door Refrigerator vs Other Brands

One of the reasons French door refrigerators are popular is because they generally have a larger capacity particularly in the freezer section which sits at the bottom of the fridge.  The freezer section is as wide as the fridge and offers easier access and placement of larger items.

The double doors allow you to open just one side of the fridge at a time and the smaller doors are less intrusive when opening out into your kitchen area where you may be limited for space.

Most French door refrigerators offer more shelf storage space as compared to other brands and in particular side by side door refrigerators. This means that larger items can be placed inside on the shelves and yet still allow plenty of space for your usual purchases.

French door refrigerators usually come with added features such as a door alarm which can be very useful if you have children who don’t always remember to shut the door properly. They have water dispensers in the door which cuts down on the amount of space you need to use within the fridge itself. They usually come with a separate dairy compartment and deli drawer, which cannot be found in all other fridge types.

The French door fridge adds an elegant touch to most kitchens, and in particular the stainless steel design will gel with most types of décor. It’s also easy to clean and relatively scratch resistant.

The fact that the freezer section offers a wider capacity also makes it easier to put things in date order and see all the items in the freezer without having to delve into the frozen parcels to find what you want. Something you wont necessarily find in other brands.

The French door refrigerator or one of the other brands? An interesting dilemma, how nice it is to have choices.
